About the ‘O Canada” Walkway
The 'O Canada' Walkway is 300' of sidewalk at Veterans Memorial Park, Grande Prairie that will be covered by Pergolas thanks to a Travel Alberta Grant we obtained. We purchased the Pergolas through the Canadian Manufacturer Toja Grid and local supplier Canadian Tire. HWD Construction Ltd. is doing all of our renovations and installing these gorgeous Pergolas for us! The Pergolas will be installed early spring 2022.
About the CMTA - The Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association believes that our heritage, history and tourism are natural partners in growing better communities.
Our project, ‘Veterans Memorial Gardens & Interpretive Centre’ at 10121-93 St Grande Prairie Alberta has been built on land donated by the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada Unit 389 and features 8 themed gardens and the ‘O Canada” Walkway. It is truly a commemorative garden connecting communities.
