Planting Days

Planting days

This year's Tree Planting date TBD with Pembina Pipeline & Tree Canada!  Brandt Tractor in Grande Prairie is donating the use of one of their augers and skid steers and Greenblade Landscape is supplying mulch and support for ensuring our trees take!

We will be planting plum trees, apple trees, cranberry bushes, buffalo berry bush, pincherry trees, raspberry bushes and haskups.

Our First tree planting was a huge success and all of our trees survived their first winter!

Join the CMTA and employees of Pembina Pipeline on Friday September 20th 2019 as we plant Maple, Elm and Birch trees and some 600 Bulbs! 10 AM to 3/4 PM at 10117-93 St Grande Prairie AB right next door to the Army, Navy, Airforce Veterans in Canada #389 across from the new kiddies park at Macklin Field.

Thank you to Brandt Tractor in Grande Prairie for the use of one of their augers and skid steers and Greenblade Landscape for the mulch and support for ensuring our trees take! Thank you to Canadian Tire Grande Prairie for the donation of bulbs that adds to the Liberator 75 Bulbs that we will be planting to acknowledge the 75th Anniversary of the Dutch Liberation.

A HUGE thank you to the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund that allows us to purchase the trees, shrubs and bulbs that we are planting.
